Our integrated business model enables us to provide end to end capabilities from procurement till distribution and marketing in a cost-efficient manner. The key components of our integrated business model are as follows

Procurement

Dodla procures 1.57 million litres of fresh milk per day directly from 1.4 Lakh farmers spread across the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Maharashtra. We have set up our own village level collection centres (VLCCs) across 8500+ villages through 900+ procurement routes, 500+ dairy farms and around 100 chilling centres. We stand out from the industry players as we procure milk directly from the farmers eliminating middleman from our collection process. This initiative is helping our farmers to get fair price for their produce and efforts. This also ensures superior quality and freshness of the milk. The raw milk from the chilling centre is transported to the nearest processing plant through Insulated milk tankers for onward processing centre where dairy based Value-Added Products (VAP) like Curd, Ghee, Paneer etc. are manufactured.

Our processing operations are spread across 14 processing plants located in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu in India. These plants have an aggregate installed capacity of 2.2 million litres of raw milk per day. We also have two SMP plants in Nellore and Vedasandur having an aggregate installed capacity of 25,000 and 10,000 kgs per day respectively. We regularly upgrade technology across our processing plants and expand into new geographies through modern automated plants having fully automated processing lines. Our processing infrastructure is designed in a manner to ensure efficient operations and meet highest product quality standards. Prior to processing, our milk goes through various quality and adulteration testing parameters. During processing, the milk is also not exposed to any physical contamination. This ensures the milk is un-adulterated and pure.

Distribution and Marketing

We sell our products under the “Dodla” brand in India. We distribute through more than 75 sales offices, around 2500 distribution agents, approx. 2000 distributors and more than 600 Dodla Retail Parlours.
